ADVENTURE'S PLANET TO PUBLISH LEGEND OF CRYSTAL VALLEY IN ITALY

Cateia Games is happy to announce that Adventure's Planet (Adventure Productions) is going to publish 'The Legend of Crystal Valley' in Italy.
Adventure's Planet will translate the game entirely to itallian and release the game sometime during Summer 2008.

ANNOUNCING LOCV LINUX TECH DEMO!

In about two weeks,Cateia Games, in association with Linux Gaming World, a website promoting Linux entertainment titles, intends to release a linux only technology demo of our flagship project: Legend of crystal valley, meant to test our engine on as many different linux systems to ensure final product quality, the main focus of the tech demo will be on audio and video playback and you'll be able to take the star of our game through a few scenes!

WORLD UNDER SIEGE: EUROPEAN FRONT NEW WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

WuS:EF has grown much more in the recent past then we initially planned. Therefore we have decided that such a title deserves a much batter web site than the current one. Due to this decision, we've temporally closed WuS:EF website. The site will re-open by the end of February featuring new screenshots, desktop wallpapers, music, army units, intro preview etc...

As LOCV continues to grow, we decided to publish some more graphics. Every Friday starting from now we intend to publish new material featuring various locations/items and characters from the game.

WORLD UNDER SIEGE: EUROPEAN FRONT ON LINUX

We mentioned before that Cateia Games titles will feature full support for Linux operating systems. This means that all of you who prefer Linux instead of Windows will be able run World under Siege: European Front on Linux without Cedega engine for example. WuS:EF is going to be easy to install, and 100% compatible with Linux.
You can check the Screenshot taken from Ubuntu 7.10 on Nvidia graphic card.

Beside WuS:EF, our adventure game The Legend of Crystal Valley will also run on Linux, featuring the same easy-to-install package.

AKELLA WILL PUBLISH THE LEGEND OF CRYSTAL VALLEY IN RUSSIA AND CIS

Cateia Games is very happy to announce that The Legend of Crystal Valley is going to be published by Akella in territory of Russia Federation. Akella will entirely translate and localize the game in Russian and any other languages within the mentioned territory.
Akella and Cateia Games already collaborated together before on Cateia's The Kings of the Dark Age, which was released in Russia in 2006.

The Russian version of The Legend of Crystal Valley (LOCV) is scheduled for Q2 2008.

WORLD UNDER SIEGE: EUROPEAN FRONT ALPHA 1.2 SCREENSHOTS

Cateia Games is very happy to present you the new World under Siege: European Front screenshots. Current graphics have been taken from WuS:EF Alpha 1.2 version and are not representing the final quality of the game. THE LEGEND OF CRYSTAL VALLEY SCREENSHOTS

Those of you who were waiting for more material regarding our adventure title The Legend of Crystal Valley are going to be happy with this one - we uploaded first screenshots from Alpha 1.3. version of the game.
Current Alpha screenshots are not representing the full quality of the product, but are going to be enough (at least for now) to show how LOCV is going to look like. You can see the introduction, the farm and the cave – first three locations in the game.

We are most pleased to announce that Cateia Games has become the Associated Intel Software Partner. This is a very important to us because it enables further improvement to our titles and brings significant optimizations in field of performance. We are looking forward to porting some of our products on UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC) and Linux operating systems, as well as optimizing them for notebook configurations based on Intel's CPUs and integrated graphics.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Another year is behind us – almost behind us, actually.
We, in Cateia Games... well, we were working hard all the way long and we tried to gave our best. So, we released (in collaboration with our partners) several localized versions of our The Kings of the Dark Age, we delivered two Patches for it, we completed Alpha version of our incoming hit strategy titled World Under Siege: European Front (WUS:EF), and finally, we started to work on a brand new game – The Legend of Crystal Valley (LOCV) – a point n' click adventure. All we can say now is: we'll continue to work hard! That's a promises!

Patch 1.0 brings the game to version 1.01 and fixes all known bugs. Patch is universal and it works on all localised versions of the game.
